One Democrat sees Good News

Even though Democrats are missing opportunities while
The Republicans know better. They analyze, they scheme, they think things through, they act aggressively and ruthlessly, and thus they win.

The 'Good News' he sees is the splitering of the support for the President and the War on Terror - Iraq Front.
But in order to stop the Republican agenda, what does he recommend? Perhaps a Democrat position on the war. Not at all.

He recommends a campaign to end election fraud which he views as the only way Republicans win elections. Aha!, you think, finally Democrats will agree to requiring identification at the polling place. Perhaps they will also want to put more money into cleaning up voter registration lists. Well, you would be wrong.

The problem is
because GOP partisans build the unauditable machines, write the secret software, and count 80% of the votes, “the people’s will” at elections is essentially irrelevant. The election results are simply what the GOP wants them to be, as they were in 2000, 2002, and 2004, and as they will be again in 2006 – provided conditions remain essentially as they are now.

So now we know why Republicans win.
